Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister: Exhibitions

The Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister (Old Masters Picture Gallery) will be open until 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays from 28 November 2025 to 3 January 2026. Please note that the exhibition area "Mengs' Plaster Cast Collection" is currently closed to the public.

The world-famous collection in the gallery building by Gottfried Semper directly at the Dresden Zwinger delights its visitors with European paintings of six centuries. Selected sculptures beautifully enrich the presentation and engage in stimulating dialogues with the paintings.
